Gold filled jewellery is an affordable alternative to solid gold that is durable, tarnish resistant and wearable for people with sensitive skin. It is hypoallergenic. It is made with a thick layer of gold that has been bonded over a base metal. The thick layer will never wear off. It will not tarnish.

You can wear 14k gold fill jewellery in the shower.

Sterling silver is .925 silver with a .075 copper additive. It is an affordable version of pure silver. Sterling silver is suitable for people with sensitive skin. It is hypoallergenic. Being real silver it will tarnish in humid conditions but it can be easily cleaned to restore it back to its original quality with a silver polishing cloth.

Rose gold filled jewellery is very pretty, durable, and tarnish resistant. It is made with a thick layer of rose gold (which is a combination of solid gold, silver and copper) that has been bonded over a base metal. The thick layer will never wear off. It may tarnishly lightly in humid conditions due to the trace amount of copper however it is easy to clean off with a polishing cloth.

Stainless steel is our most durable and maintenance free option. It is a dark silver colour and is made from solid, medical grade stainless steel. It will not tarnish and is hypoallergenic. It is ideal if you live in a humid climate (as it won't ever tarnish) or you want to wear your jewellery all the time (including in the shower or ocean).

Bronze jewellery is bronze plated over brass. It is strong, durable and has an antique look and feel to it. The bronze plating may wear off over time exposing the brass base metal, which is a similar colour so as your jewellery ages it will develop a more rustic feel. It isn't suitable for sensitive skin as it isn't hypoallergenic like our other metals.

Can I get this necklace wet?

We recommend removing before swimming and showering because this design uses a translucent crystal and soap, dirt and water may get trapped in the gap between the crystal and the wire.

If you select this necklace in sterling silver keep in mind all silver jewellery oxidises when exposed to water but it is easily removed with a polishing cloth.

I absolutely love it

I got this necklace to help me connect me back with my inner peace and calm me during a difficult period in my life. And it has really helped. I wear it each day and it has absolutely helped me to tap into my feminine energy which I love. I have been chasing this necklace for a while since I saw someone at work with it on. I finally found it on this different website however it looked a bit sketchy, I went to a website review website and they had this sketchy website listed with bad reviews, the necklace was obviously from China and the '14k plating' was picking off! I was devastated then, then I got an ad for this shop and I was like oh no here we go again. But I saw the videos on the instagram of the lady making them and I was like mhmmm alrighty then- I'll give it a go! AND Im so glad! It is great quality! and definitely the real deal!
I wear it everyday and it has no tarnish, I am in love with my necklace it makes me feel so feminine and divine!! So worth it! Thank you Luna Tide!
